Helping Blind Cats "See" a future

Email us
A lady in Minnesota that fed stray cats found Cora walking in the snow towards the food bowl. She noticed something was different about this cat (she was friendly unlike the ferals that she fed and she was blind!) and took her in.

She found herself in the situation of having to move and could not find a place that she could afford that would allow her to have her animals. She put a call out on the Internet and we offered to give Cora a home.

Cora is a love bug, loves to sit in your laps and purrs. She also loves to go outside and you will see her outside on pretty days just hanging out and laying in the sun.

Cora has developed bleeding blood vessels in her large blue eye. The vet felt it would be best to remove that eye. She came through surgery like a champ, but looks very scary! The picture below is the day after surgery. Looks like she has a huge black eye.
