Sara

Sara was turned in to Miami Dade Animal Control as a stray.  She was very lucky that there is a wonderful rescue in Miami that works hard at getting as many animals out of there alive.  Sara is FELV+.  They contacted us to see if we had room for her.   Not only did they pull her from the shelter,  they also pulled Sheila who is also FELV+,   they found a temporary foster home for them , took them  to the vet to get their medical certificates and a volunteer drove them  to us.    They show how much of a village it sometimes takes to save a life.   She is super super sweet.

6/2/12   Sadly Sara was diagnoised with FIP and euthanized.    She was such a sweet girl, wish we had had a chance to know her longer!!
