Nacho
9/2016 Nacho is both FIV & FELV+ He was brought into our vets office by some one who had found hom. They wanted him to be given his shots and be tested. When he tested positive they instructed the vet to euthanize him. Thankfully my vet refuses to euthanize a friendly healthy cat who could still have a few years of life even though they test positive. They made an emergency call to me to ask if we could take him. After lots of talking, they convinced the man to sign over rights to the cat. Nacho was starving and needed medical care. He is super friendly and very happy to finally be safe and fed. You may watch him 24 hours a day LIVE on his MeShare camera. Sponsored by Shelly - Thank you! Sponsored by Alex - Thank you! Sponsored by Stephanie - Thank you! Sponsored by Momma Cat in honor of Jenna & Brandon - Thank you!
10/15/2016 Nacho suddenly vomited and collapsed. We rushed him to the vet but he was agonally breathing when we arrived. We immediately euthanized him. We are having a necropsy done. The vet suspects that he threw a clot. He was such a nice fellow! Our hearts are broken that he only had a month with us. At least for the month he knew love and kindness. he had a soft bed to sleep in, he had a full belly and was safe for the first time in his life. The necropsy showed he had severe heart worm disease
