Nicky
2008 Nicky came to us from the Orange County Animal Control Center.  He is a super sweet loving little fellow and they absolutely did not want to have to kill him.  He had come to them as a stray from the city dump. Nicky's eyes were bulging out of his head so we immediately took him to the vet.  Considering his rough start in life he was in decent health. Sponsored by Jennifer - Thank you!! 6/15/2015  Nicky has been sick for weeks.  Ultra sounds, antibiotics, feeding tube, x-rays,  blood work like crazy and still not 100% sure what was wrong with him.   Today he started having problems breathing,  was still losing weight even though he was being tube fed,  he clearly had enough.   I held him as he returned to his maker.  We are having a full necropsy to find out why?  what was really wrong with him?  What took his life so young. He was a crazy busy little fellow who will be missed. The necrospy showed it was in fact dry FIP.   The doctor that did His original ultra sound had said that it was cancer or dry FIP, sadly he was right.
