Baron
Baron (named in honor of a wonderful supporter of ours)
came to us from Orlando Fl. A rescuer was working with a
couple with to many cats. One of his siblings had tested
FELV+ weeks before and been euthanized. He became ill and
when they took him to the vet, he also tested FELV+. He was
lucky that the rescuer tried to find him a place to go and we
had one space available at the time. Cute little guy is both
blind & FELV+
The rescuer got him to Atlantic Animal Clinic in Pompano
Beach (we are so grateful to them for all they do for us) Joan
& Jim were on vacation and Florida and gave him a ride
home to us. Another cat that shows sometimes it takes a
village to save a life. He is a very friendly fellow. You can see
him live on
Ustream on Monday’s.
4/16/2014  Today we said goodbye to this very sweet
little guy.   Sadly with an FELV+ cat,  cancer always
wins in the end.   He will be missed
