Danny is a little blind FELV+ boy who is a very sweet friendly in your face fellow who only wants to love on you.
He came to us from a high kill shelter in West Virginia. Lucky for him, this shelter goes the extra mile to try to find a home for the cats instead of just euthanizing them. They had some wonderful volunteers drive him and 2 others to us to safety.
He will be going to the vet to get his nasty eyes taken care of, get fixed and get all of his medical need meet.
This is one of the sweetest cats I have ever met. Loves loves loves everyone!! Super nice fellow!!
10 days ago Danny began a fight for his life. We had him get a transfusion but it did not change the outcome. Took him back to the vets today and the bloodwork showed that his blood marrow no longer worked, the leumkemia had won. I held him in my arms as I said goodbye and euthanized him. Danny was one of the really special ones that touched all that knew him. I will never forget him!!! RIP Danny 4/16/2012
