Snicker is slowly improving. The infection on his neck stilllooks icky and has not improved as much as I would likebut it is getting better slowly. He had chest x-rays done here and sent to Raleigh. HisRaleigh vet was happy with the progress. He stayson antibiotics until he goes to Raleigh on 7/24
Casey had chest X-rays done here and sent to Raleigh. The vet here gasped when she looked at them (so didI) the spot in her lungs is very large. It was the first time Ihad seen it.Her vet in Raleigh and I talked and she is not happy with the x-rays. We are adding a different antibiotic to hersince it was a bacteria when they tapped it (that did not grow) It could be an abscess or tumor. She is going backto Raleigh on 7/24 ... If it has not made major improvementwe can count on surgery to remove it. The vet said we were looking at 4-5K. Her last time at the start of all of thiswas 4500. Casey is eating, holding her weight and does not appearto be in any discomfort. We did blood work 2 weeks agoand it was completely normal. So long as she is not sufferingwe will continue with treating her.
Autumn is hanging in there. eating, etc
Sasha went in because she was losing weight.Blood work and x-rays gave us serious concerns. We knew we were dealing with something ugly. The ultra sound confirmed our suspicions. It appearsto be a very aggressive cancer and has infiltrated mostof her organs. She is eating and still moving aroundbut her time is coming to a close with us. I will bewith her at the end when it is time to say goodbye. She will tell us when she is ready.
