FIV+/Vision Impaired Gender: Male Approximate age: 6 years (as of 2025) Arrived From: Lancaster, SC Arrival Day: October 15, 2023 Luke is an FIV+ kitty with some vision loss who came from Lancaster, South Carolina. His journey to BCR began when a wonderful woman responded to a Facebook post by someone who couldn’t drive asking for help driving a cat to the vet. When she got there to do the drive, she found many with cats in horrific condition and was told that the area was a dumping ground for unwanted cats. She immediately started to work on finding homes for the friendly cats. With Luke being FIV+ and badly needing some dental work, she only trusted a sanctuary to step in and provide a loving forever home where he never had to worry again. Luke is a very sweet handsome boy, who’s a little timid until he sits in a lap! Then he instantly begins to purr and makes the tiniest slow air biscuits we’ve ever witnessed. He also loves to talk!
