Blind/FIV+ Gender: Male Approximate age: Arrived From: Fayetteville, NC Arrival Day: March 18, 2023 Pandora is a senior FIV-positive and visually impaired kitty who was living in downtown Fayetteville's streets. Being a super friendly cat, he was acting as the greeter in a local store and the store owner was caring for him. Pandora's eye was severely damaged and, because he was used to going in and out as he pleased, the store owner got worried about his safety. He wasn’t happy about being kept indoors and would often run out the front door when he got the chance. The store owner knew he’d be hard to find a home for, especially since he tested positive for FIV. But, through our TNR network, the store owner heard about BCR and she called us. We know Pandora is a girl’s name but at first, they thought he was a girl so now he knows that name and since he knows it, we don’t want to change it for him! We treated his eye, and he has vision, but it is blurred. It took Pandora some time to get used to indoor life and using a litter box, but he’s now figured it out. He’s a very affectionate cat and very willing to let you know how he feels about everything that’s going on You may catch him talking to the world on our 24 hour live cameras in House 2, Room 1.You can watch HERE.
