1/26/2016 Little Ella owes her life to one of our employees beingin the right place at the right time. Chris had gone in to ourlocal animal control (5 minutes away) to look for a cat for a friend, and who did she find there, Ella. She came back to the shelter (ours) and begged me to take her. I was shockedthe shelter had not called me to let me know she was there!I sent Chris back for her. She was to be euthanized in a fewhours. She is a tiny 4.6 pounds! Skin and bones! We were told she was an owner surrender due to family problems.X-rays show this poor baby has 3 broken vertebra odontoidprocesses in her back. They are being held only by ligaments.Crazy looking x-ray! Once we get some weight on her she willget spayed and see the eye doctor to determine if we need to removeher left eye (it has collapsed) She is very scared right now, feels safest if she can hide in a bed or under one. She is alsofriendly. She has moved into her room, and is adjusting. She is notfond of the cats but doing better. She is spayed now, her eye takencare of and is now healthy. You can watch her 24/7 LIVE on Our MeShare Pet CamShe is in House 2, Room 2Sponsored by Juliana - Thank you!Sponsored by Marcia - Thank you!Sponsored by Jolynn, Isaac & Peter - Thank you!Sponsored by Barbara - Thank you!Sponsored by Maja - Thank you!Sponsored by Setsuko - Thank you!Sponsored by Danica - Thank you!Sponsored by Robert - Thank you!Sponsored by Shirley - Thank you!Sponsored By Jeanne - Thank you!Sponsored by Leslie in loving memory of Donald - Thank you!Sponsored by Bhavana - Thank you!Sponsored by Victor- Thank you!Sponsored by Marilyn- Thank you!
