1/2023 Sunshine is a very sweet Senior who came to us from a shelter as Rescue only. They felt she was sick and not suitable for adoption. She apparently came in as a stray. She is very very sweet, we think she is some what newly blind from untreated hypertension. According to her blood work she has serious kidney disease and heart disease. She is going to have an ultrasound soon. We are pretty sure we are hospice for her. She will be loved and cared for for the time she is with us.

5/9/2023  Four months ago when Sunshine came to us from animal control she was a very senior kitty in very bad condition. We knew we were hospice for her and vowed to give her as much quality of life as we could for the time we had with her. She was hospitalized 2 weeks ago for her kidneys and back again last week. The vet and I knew that we were now counting her time in days. Today she had had enough and it was time to let her go. She went over the rainbow bridge quietly in my arms. We don't know how she found herself in animal control but we are glad we had the opportunity to help her. She was a very sweet old girl who liked to be held like a baby. She would make biscuits in the soft beds and she loved sitting in your lap. I think for her final days she was happy and your support made it possible. We all thank you so much!!
