from a rescue who does TNR. He was trapped with 6 other FELV+ babies. Sadly 5 of them passed away early and 1 the rescue was able to find an adoptive home for. The rest needed a place to go, they had tied up foster home for months waiting and reality is, kitten season will be starting soon and they need the foster home available. He is a fun friendly little boy who is busy busy busy. You may watch him on lis live camera HERE He is in House 2, Room 4.

11/09/23 This is a completely unexpected letter to be writing today. Our sweet Triton has passed over the rainbow bridge. We had noticed Triton was doing some odd breathing this morning but was still up moving and having his wheel time. We kept a very close eye on him and planned to take him in when the laser therapy cats needed to be picked up. On our final check, he was open-mouth breathing and just seemed uncomfortable. He would get on the wheel, do a few laps, and then plop down on the floor. I rushed him to the vet and they immediately got him back there. When the x-ray came back, it had shown that his lungs were being so compressed, that they were pushed way out of place. Poor Triton had a mass and it was just compressing the lungs and trachea so badly that it was causing the odd breathing. Triton came to us back at the beginning of this year with his three siblings, all leukemia positive and needing a loving home. Being leukemia positive, you never know how long you'll get with them, but being able to love and be loved by them is always worth it. We got to love our little noodle man for almost an entire year and we are very thankful for that. He absolutely loved the attention. During breakfast time, he loved to get his attention because all of the other cats were so focused on eating that he could get all of the love. Not only did he love his attention, but he also was obsessed with the wheel. We even had to add two wheels to that room so they wouldn't have to fight over it. Please keep Triton in your thoughts, as he will be missed so dearly by all who got to know and love him. We also cannot thank you all enough for making it possible to have shown Triton such a loving home and provide him with everything he could have possibly needed. Alyson
