8/18 Uncle Fester (Yes we are naming them after the Adam’s Family, Big smile) was living the life of a street cat begging from house to house. The people were willing to feed him but no one was willing to step up and give him a home or get him fixed. Lucky for him one of the people finally decided that a blind cat should not be living on the streets and called us for help. He is blind, probably from an untreated upper respiratory infection. He has many wounds and what appears to be a broken leg that healed wrong. He will be going to the vet on Monday for a full medical workup. Update: He has gotten full medical workup. As you can see by the x-rays, he is full of bird shot! What on earth makes a person think it is ok to shoot an animal? He has been neutered, his eyes have been taken care of. He is on good pain meds and being cared for. This is a big friendly love bug who is so happy to have a soft bed and plenty of food. No more begging for this big fellow. Update: He loves other cats.
