Buddy’s journey started when he was found living near a friend’s house, just trying to survive on his own. A kind family took him in, determined to give him the love and safety he deserved. When Buddy developed some skin lesions, they made sure he got the medical care he needed and had him fully vetted. During his exams, they learned that he is FIV positive. But as you all know, that didn’t change how special this sweetheart is! Even though his rescuers adored him, they knew Buddy needed a forever home prepared to meet his ongoing medical needs and give him the best possible life. Despite everything he’s been through, Buddy remains a sweet, resilient boy with a big heart and an even bigger purr. Buddy reminds us every day that FIV doesn’t define a cat’s capacity for love and he’s ready to share that love with his new forever family.
