Charlotte
4/2018 Charlotte came to us from a hoarding situation with Caroline.
24 cats were found on a farm starving, eating rocks and debris to stay
alive. The x-rays confirm it. Craziest thing I have ever seen!
The rescue involved in rescuing the cat put a call out for help. All of
the cats were very sick and testing leukemia positive. We contacted
them and said we would take the 2 sickest. I had them immediately
take them to an emergency vet (it was over a holiday weekend)
to begin treating them and try to save their lives.
Charlotte is the friendliest cat I have ever met! With all she has
endured she is still very loving. She arrived very thin, sick, and
Leukemia positive. She still needs to be spayed. She will be moving
into her room after being fixed. She has a great appetite and is doing
well.
We do not know why her tongue won’t stay in her mouth.
She always has it sticking out.

10/7/18 Sweet Charlotte came to us from a horrific hoarding
situation and has struggled with her health since she arrived.
She had horrible mouth problems and tumors.
Today was clearly the day, she was so ready. She was not eating,
was in pain, it was time to let her go.
I help her in my arms as she crossed the rainbow bridge.
She was dealt such a horrible hand in life, I wish she had had years
with us! At least we are comforted that she knew 6 months
of love and being cared for.
She will be missed. I am sorry
