FeLV PositiveGender: FemaleApproximate age:Arrived From: TennesseeArrival Day: August 2019An animal control facility was doing some trap-neuter-release work in rural Tennessee for more than 100 cats! As they worked, the worked to find homes for the friendlier cats and Dot and two other kittens were in that group. Sadly, the three tested positive for leukemia but the wonderful vet refused to euthanize healthy kittens thus saving Dot’s life. Dot and the other two kittens were the first leukemia-positive ones their shelter had ever successfully found a home for. Dot has done amazingly well at BCR (the two she came with have sadly crossed the Rainbow Bridge. She’s a very sweet girl who loves to be up on the kurandas in her room and she has the sweetest meow! You can see Dot live on our 24-hour cameras HERE. she is in House 2, Room 4
