Blind Gender: MaleApproximate age:Arrived from:Arrival Day: July 28, 2013Jellybean and his two brothers arrived from a high-kill shelter when they were four weeks old. They were lucky that a volunteer intercepted them before they were fullyprocessed by the shelter because all three would have been euthanized because they were sick and blind from untreated upper respiratory infections. Although Jellybean lost his sight permanently from illness, it has never stopped him from being a very energetic and playful kitty. He grew into a handsome cat whose joy in life is running on his wheel (yes, blind cats do that very well!). He is very social boy who loves attention from any humans in his room and will sit on their shoulders as long as he can! Jellybean is a senior kitty now and has a little arthritis in his hips, which we are treating. You might catch Jellybean on his wheel by watching him in House 2, Room 3 on our 24-hour live cameras.
