FIV+ and Heartworm+ Gender: Male Approximate age: 5 years old Arrived From: Fayetteville, NC Arrival Day: April 25, 2026 This handsome boy had been quietly living on a kind family’s property, where he had been lovingly fed and cared for over time. It didn’t take long to realize he was not feral at all, he’s friendly, trusting, and clearly enjoys human companionship. After noticing watery eyes, he was brought to the vet and treated with antibiotics. While there, he received important care, including neutering and vaccinations, and it was found out that he is approximately 5 years old, FIV positive, and has heartworms. Despite everything, his spirit remains incredibly sweet. He enjoys attention, welcomes kindness, and seems ready to trade his outdoor life for the comfort and safety of a loving home.Because of his medical needs, his founders wanted him to have the perfect home. Ideally as the only cat or with someone experienced in caring for special needs kitties. His current caregivers have already opened their home to multiple rescued animals and were unable to keep him, but were committed to finding him a compassionate placement where he will be safe and cared for. That's when they reached out to us. He deserves more than just getting by. Marbles deserves to have a nice environment to spend his days.
