9/2023 Orange came to us from Eastern NC along with two of his siblings who
had tested positive. A wonderful woman was helping trap and fix a colony and
took in a litter of fluffy orange kittens. When the three tested positive, she knew
she needed to find them a loving forever home instead of putting them back
outside. This amazing woman got all three kittens fixed and up to date on their
shots and even nursed them back to health from an upper respiratory infection.
She, and her friend then drove a little over two hours to get all three babies to us.
We are very happy that we were able to take them in and in return make more
space for her to continue fostering.
Orange is the brave one of the bunch. He has already made himself very at home
and loves playing with the staff’s ankles and other toys in the room. He has the
true orange cat behavior and runs sideways all around the room. You can watch
