BlindGender: MaleApproximate age:Arrived From: North CarolinaArrival Day: July 28, 2013Peanut and his two brothers arrived from a high-kill shelter when they were four weeks old. They were lucky that a volunteer intercepted them before they were fully processed by the shelter because all three would have been euthanized because they were sick and blind from untreated upper respiratory infections. Although Peanut lost is sight permanently from the illness, it has never stopped him from doing his favorite thing, which is walking on the wheel! He grew into a handsome cat who has the most beautiful coat and coloring. Peanut is a little shy but loves people and the other cats in his room. You will probably catch Peanut on his wheel by watching him in House 2, Room 3 on our 24-hour live cameras. You can watch HERE.
