Blind Gender: Male Approximate age: Arrived From: Maryland Arrival Day: 2011 Rudy is another very lucky kitten who met some angels along the way. This little blind boy was dumped at the pound in Maryland that did not adopt out special-needs animals - they would only release those animals to a rescue. Several people reached out to us to see if we could help Rudy. So, we contacted the pound and they agreed to allow us to pull him. A former BCR employee’s sister worked very close to the pound and she agreed to pick him up and get him to her vet to be checked out. A few days later, little Rudy caught a ride to BCR with the sister’s parents who were traveling through the area! Rudy was born blind and is one of the sweetest cats you’ll ever meet. He loves people and other cats and his new favorite game is to escape from his room for a lobby run! He is a sweet little guy who was born blind.
