Blind Gender: Male Approximate age: 3 Arrived From: Brooklyn, New York Arrival Day: 12/18/2025 Snoop is a sweet blind boy who came to us after needing to be rehomed due to his vocalization, and we were more than happy to give him a true forever home where all of his needs could be met without the risk of returning to a shelter. Because of his young reported age and the fact that his blindness was not noticed when he was originally adopted, we had concerns about possible underlying medical causes and scheduled his first veterinary visit right away. His exam showed that he does not have high blood pressure, but he does have an oral ulcer and will need a dental, and while he was estimated to be around 2.5 years old, the amount of tartar buildup suggests he may be older. The vet also noted some neurological signs, and we are currently awaiting additional results and planning next steps to fully understand what is going on. Snoop has a faint heart murmur and is on a course of antibiotics due to bronchial patterns seen in his lungs, and at his follow-up visit he may be diagnosed as an asthmatic kitty.
