9/2023 Lemon came to us from Eastern NC along with two of her siblings who had
tested positive. A wonderful woman was helping trap and fix a colony and took in
a litter of fluffy orange kittens. When the three tested positive, she knew she needed
to find them a loving forever home instead of putting them back outside. This amazing
woman got all three kittens fixed and up to date on their shots and even nursed them
back to health from an upper respiratory infection. She and her friend then drove
a little over two hours to get all three babies to us. We are very happy that we
were able to take them in and in return make more space for her to continue
fostering.
Lemon is slowly warming up to her new home in Room 4 in House 2. With the
power of churu lickable treats and her two brothers, anything is possible for her.
She is a super sweet girl with the cutest meow

Update! (2/2024) Lemon has fully come out of her shell and is just as wild
as her two brothers! She loves to run and play!
