Chance
2011 Little Chance owes his life to “chance”. He was found as a stray and taken to the pound. Under NC law he could have been immediately euthanized. But lucky for Chance he landed at the Wake County Animal Control Center. They have some wonderful people there that do everything possible to not have to kill the animals. Wake County called us, we said yes. They contacted Joan, who is a foster home for them and for us and Joan went and got him. A nice lady named Lorraine and her 2 friends live in Raleigh. They were coming to visit us a few days later & gave him a ride with them. You can see, it took lots of things falling in place for Chance to have a chance. Chance is a super friendly little fellow who loves humans :) 11/27/2015 Sweet Chance has been sick with a severe liver disease. He has been to some of the best vets in the state. Today he clearly was in pain, the jaundice was worse, he was nauseous, it was clear that it was time to let him go. We are having a full necrospy done, he was a young cat who became sick over night. I want to know why. He was a fun mischievous fellow and best friend to Snicker. If you put anything on a counter, dryer, washer, desk he would search it out and swat it off. Repairmen found tools landing on the floor often. The lobby won’t seem the same without him. He will be missed. Sadly his necrospy did not give us the answers we wanted. He died from liver disease. We do not know why. Sponsored by Terry - Thank you! Sponsored by Lynn - Thank you! Sponsored by Jennifer & Caroline - Thank you! Sponsored by Carrie & John - Thank you!
