7/17/2018 - RIP Sweet Dalton arrived to us from animal control 4 days ago. When he arrived he was so sick he was immediately taken to our vet and hospitalized. Blood work showed he was very very anemia and had a raging infection. We brought him home to try to nurse him back to health. Sadly that was not to be, he started having respiratory difficulties and was rushed to the vet where he was euthanized. This sweet fellow had gone through hell in his life and yet was the sweetest most gentle cat that I had ever met, No matter what we had to do, give meds, bath, fluids, he only resisted, never once did he try to bite us or hurt us. He loved to have his head scratched and under his chin. He touched us deeply for the few days we had. He will forever be in our hearts. We do not know who threw this cat out to starve and become so sick but I hope there is a special place in hell for them. We were so glad for him to know a few days of love and kindness at the end.
