IGOR
10/29/2016 Igor was living as a stray. A lady found him,
he is super friendly, took him to the vet and he test FELV+.
She has other cats and did not feel safe putting him with her
cats. She reached out to see if we had space for him and
sadly we had lost a loved one and did have the space. She got
him vetted, put him in the car and brought him to us.
He is very friendly but you can see the signs that he has been
living on the streets for a time. I hope he likes other cats.

We took Igor to the vet last week because he obviously was not
feeling good and his breath was putrid. His blood work showed
the leukemia had become active. We brought him home on meds
to try to help him feel better. Yesterday afternoon he was obviously
not feeling good and was running a high fever. 105! Back to the
vet we race. His blood work only week later from the last
one showed significant advancement in the leukemia. The vet
and I felt that considering all factors it was the more humane
thing to let him go. He was quite the fellow, sure liked
humans, was not overly fond of the other cats. We will miss him.
