6/21/2022 Meredith had started struggling with her health a few weeks ago. She was losing weigh and of course was taken to the vet for blood work, xrays etc. Last week ago she spiked a 105+ fever and was rushed to the vet. She was hospitalized for 2 days and we brought her home for whatever time she would have. Her blood work told us the story that she would be leaving us soon. Every day she was spiking high fevers, every day we were giving her medicine to take the fever down. She was eating some but her weight continued to drop from cancer. Today we knew that we had reached our last good day for her. It was a good day, a pretty day, she spent it outside on the catio, the staff spent extra time with her. This afternnon she and I made our last trip to the vet and I held her as she went over the rainbow bridge. She was a sweet loving girl who loved to be brushed, playing with spring toys and playing with the other kitties. She loved being pampered and was very good at jumping fromthe climbers. We will miss her very much.
