2012 Sweet Natalie is FELV+. She came to us from a kill shelter in Kentucky that went way beyond what most shelters do to try to save her life!! They try their hardest not to have to put anyone down but they are a kill shelter. They had a lady that does transport pick her up in Kentucky and drive her to us. The little girl has pneumonia which we are of course treating her for and then off to the vet to have her right eye removed. She is a super sweet girl and we are very happy we were able to help her!!By her clipped ear she had obviously been trapped and released at some point in her life.Update: She is a very friendly girl and doing super now. Antibiotics got her healthy :)Sponsored by Chan - Thank you!Sponsored by Charles in Garfield’s memory - Thank you!SponsoredbyMichael-Thankyou!7/26/2018 We knew this day was coming, but you are never ready for it when it arrives. Sweet loving Natalie had been fighting leukemia for the last few months of her lifeShe was anemic from leukemia. Her bone marrow was involved and there is no fixing that. We knew that we were now hospice for her. Today was the day. She had stopped eating and clearly said she had had enough.I held her in my arms crying as she left this world. I was so not ready for her to go.She was the sweeting kitty who loved to play, loved all humans and loved to sit in your lap. We were blessed to have been loved by her for over 6 years. She will not be forgotten.
