12/22/2017 Nigel had begun losing weight 2 months ago, we had taken himto the vet and blood work was done. We could see that we were beginningto lose the battle to leukemia. He was eating and not saying to us it wastime yet. Today he stopped eating. Blood work confirmed that we had reached the end. Leukemia was completely in charge now and it wastime to let him go.He had become a very friendly affectionate fellow once he settled down.We were blessed to have given him a year of love and care.
