Skipper
12/2017 Skipper was found as a hungry stray by a good Samaritan. He tried to find his owner or a rescue in his area to take him. No one was interested in a senior blind kitty. He took Skipper to the vet to make sure was healthy and hired a transporter to drive him to us. The funny part of the whole story is he thought Skipper was a she. Did not see the boy parts and assumed was a female. No one at his vet got personal with him either. I asked my vet to verify the cat was spayed. My vet said he was not a girl, he was in fact a neutered boy and had the main boy part to prove it. We were all very surprised! He is a super nice fellow with hair as soft as silk! You may watch him Live on his pet cam: log in is admin@blindcatrescue.com password is password He is in room 3

8/2/2022 This is a sad letter I knew last week I would be writing.  Skipper had not been doing well.  He was losing weight and had been to the vet so many times. He had severe pancreatitis and had so many treatments, ultrasounds, and medicines and we just could not get him better.   We started syringe feeding him last week.  Today he clearly said enough,  let me go.  He would not get out of the bed even for treats and was not able to stand up.  It was clearly time.  He came to us 5 years ago after being found as a stray.  We don't know how old he was,  but he was a senior fellow.  He was the greeter of the room.  He loved to sit in your lap with the sweetest purr.  He has the softest fur.  He loved everyone and you would often find him cuddling with Mr. Betty.  He loved to cuddle with everyone and I know really missed Hermes and Honey.  Now he is back with them.  He went over the rainbow bridge quietly in my arms.
