Sadie
11/2019 Sadie is a leukemia positive kitty. She came into a vets office when she was 4 weeks old where she lived in a cage for approx. 6 months. The vets office had been trying to find placement for her and her sibling for many months. They did not feel living in a cage was quality of life. We agreed. Sadie is a fun friendly little kitten who loves people and loves to play. It is going to be fun watching her grown up. You may watch her on her live camera HERE She is in room 4.

12/12/2022 Sweet Sadie came to us 3 years ago after living in a cage for her whole young life (6 months) in a cage at a vet's office.  They were going to euthanize her if a place was not found quickly. The vet felt that it was not quality of life growing up in a cage.  We agree.  Because of your support,  we were able to help her. Sadie grew up to be a fun playful girl.  She loved to sit up on the high shelf in her room and grab the light switch chain and turn the lights off.  It kept us so confused of why the lights were off until we saw her do it.  She loved to play and run,  she also loved to sit in your lap and be loved on. A couple of weeks ago she started losing weight and running a high fever (105) and was taken to the vet and hospitalized.  Blood work, UA's, X-rays, and tests after tests were done and everything was normal.  Except she was not eating, she was losing weight and she was running high fevers. She had to take so many meds and it was not changing anything. Today she has clearly had enough,  it was time to let her go.  She was suffering.  We are about the quality of life and dignity of death.  Today she and I took our last trip together back to the vet.  I held her in my arms as she went over the rainbow bridge. She will be missed.
