Felv+/FIV+ Gender: Male Approximate age: 2 as of 2025 Arrived From: Raleigh, North Carolina Arrival Day: July 15, 2025 Chief is a blue-eyed Siamese cat who was found as a stray in Burlington, North Carolina. Due to his Leukemia and FIV positive status and an injured pelvic bone, he was facing euthanasia. Thank goodness a very compassionate veterinarian intervened. Recognizing Chief's potential and his need for a second chance, the vet stepped in and saved his life. After being stabilized, Chief was placed in a rescue organization. However, his prospects for adoption remained bleak and had been waiting for his forever home for months. His diagnosis, combined with his pelvic injury and urinary tract issues, made it difficult for him to find a forever home. Despite his challenges, Chief's resilience and loving spirit caught the attention of those around him and they worked to find him a home. They reached out to us and thus his journey to Blind Cat Rescue began. Chief was chauffeured to us July 15th and has been nothing but a lovebug and quite the conversation starter since arriving. This guy is a talker! He could chat it up with you all day long. Chief is also very fond of his catio time and thoroughly enjoys bird watching. You guys can catch Chief in Room 1 in House 2 once he has been seen by our vet office and is given the green light to move in.
