The vet waswilling to make sure he was healthy for us. Smudge then went to Atlantic Animal Clinicin Pompano Beach, Florida, where he could stay until he could get to BCR. (We thankthis wonderful practice for helping Smudge so much!). Two BCR volunteers werevacationing in Florida and agreed to pick him up and bring Smudge back to BCR.Sweet Smudge owes his life to all those people who went the extra mile to help him!Smudge got his name from the one dark smudge of fur on his head he had when hewas little. As he’s grown up now, the smudge has gone so he’s sometimes calledSmudge-less! He’s a wonderful kitty and we’re so thankful he’s at BCR! Little guyshows it takes a village to save lives some times.
