6/2017 Tommy is a leukemia and FIV positive kitty who was found as a stray. His finders were going to keep him and give him a home until he tested positive. Their vet wanted them to euthanize him but he was too friendly. They were determined to find him a safe place to go. He is a super friendly fellow who immediately has fit in with the other cats.

7/10/18 Sweet Tommy was not acting like his normal playful self today and appeared to not be feeling well so off to the vet we went. The vet called me an hour later after I dropped him off telling me that Tommy had severe anemia and his body was no longer making red blood cells. The leukemia is fully in charge. The vet and I discussed options and both agreed that putting Tommy through so much was not going to change our final outcome and it was time to let him go. He was a sweet playful fellow who loved to walk on the wheel. We were blessed to have had him in our life for a year. He will be missed. I am sorry.
