Pedro

1/2023 Pedro is a leukemia positive cat. Sadly for him, his owner died and the family packed up the house and left Pedro. We suspect he had been an outside cat because he was not fixed and he does not like to use a litter box. Lucky for him the neighbors saw him fending for himself and took him in. But then he test positive for leukemia. She had other cats and absolutely would not keep him. And let’s make it more difficult they were moving north from Florida so they were now desperate for him to have a safe place to go. He is a very sweet friendly cat and the shelter had said he would be immediately euthanized. Sooooo …. That is how he came to be with us. Her vet’s record says they felt a mass in his abdomen so he is going to get an ultrasound and of course get fixed. He has a great appetite and right now is not giving us any reason to think that he is ill so we shall see what happens with this little guy. Sadly the ultrasound verified he does in fact have a mass so we will be hospice for him. He thanks you so much for your support! You make it so we can help him.
