12/16 Matthew was found and taken into my vet’s office during HurricaneMatthew. He was very sick and in real need for help. Tests show he most likelyhas pancreatic cancer. He is also FIV+ We had a situation with a stray catthat had been dumped on our property and needed help with finding him a home.He was a seeing cat and negative/negative. The vet did not want Matthew to livehis life out in a cage and no one wanted to give him a home. Now Matthew has a home and the stray that had been dumped was adopted that day by one ofthe vet employees mom. A win for everyone.

3/15/2017 Sweet Matthew developed a high fever and was immediately takento the vet. The vet found his abdomen full of think yellow fluid. (That is notsupposed to be there) The vet and I agreed after looking at his bloodwork, ultra sound and fluid that it was time to let him go. We did notwant him to suffer and from years of experiene, we were not going to be ableto fix this.He was a super friendly loving fellow who will be missed by everyone.
