Carrot
11/21/2014 Carrot was found a little stray kitten by some one who could not afford to help him or keep him.
As you can see by the condition of his eyes, he needed serious help. He had his very painful eyes removed and was neutered. No, to those that ask was there anything we could do to save his eyes, no, they were completely blind and painful. He is a super nice fellow who loves all the other cats. You will often find him walking on his wheel. You may watch him 24 hours a day LIVE on her MeShare Camera. He is in building 1, room 2.
We know he feels so much better now without those painful eyes.

RIP 6/27/19 RIP - Carrot - This is a letter that I just can not wrap my head around that I am having to write. We took Carrot to the vet today for some weight loss. They techs had drawn blood, taken x-rays, checked his temp and blood pressure and put him back in the cage waiting for the vet to come exam him. We had 4 cats there (today is our regular vet day) 10-15 minutes later when they had gotten to him, he was laying there not breathing. He had died. We are all in shock and astounded. He was very alive 15 minutes before, had taken all the temps, etc with no problem, was not distressed, and yet he is dead... We have requested he be sent out to an outside lab for a full necropsy. I want to know why,,,, why why why??? He was the friendliest little fellow, loved to run on the wheel, loved to cuddle with the other cats. boy we will miss watching him grow up. I am so sorry!! Alana Update - Heart failure due to an underlying heart condition was the official cause of death

After surgery, we know he has to feel so much better. Update, he has had his surgery and is doing great! He is the nicest fellow, loves all the other cats and has become a wheel runner. You may watch him live 24 hours a day on his MESHARE camera
