7/2015 Emma came to us from a shelter in NJ. The do everything possible to not have to put to an animal to sleep. Emma had been adopted as a kittenbut was then returned because she test FELV+They tried for a year to find another home for her and even thoughshe is as sweet as can be they were unsuccessful. Spaces in FELVshelters are very hard to find also so she was growing up in a cage.(They took her out to play with her and socialize her)Because of the combined work of 2 Nancy’s (Pictured) She isnow with us. Nancy1 drove her 1/2 way to us, and Nancy 2 droveup and met her. Nancy2 used to volunteer at the shelter in NJ andknew Emma. She suggested to Nancy 1 that she ask her if therewas a chance we could make room for her. And that is how shehas come to live with us.

12/23/2015 To our sadness, Emma went into respiratory distress today. The vet found a massive mass in her lungs. The painful decision was made to let her go. We were blessed to have been with her forthe time she had with us. She will be so missed.
